There is a demand in the workforce for STEM related jobs and careers. It has been shown that the workforce shortage can be linked back to a lack of students showing interest in STEM skills. To engage the next generation in actively seeking jobs in STEM, the Florida High Tech Corridor has incorporated a digital service for classrooms.
This session provides an overview of how Central Florida teachers have been utilizing digital technology to outreach STEM messages. By reinforcing classroom ideas while introducing students to related high-tech careers ultimately providing an impact to economic development.
